Changing your home telephone service to IP?
Many of our customers have begun switching from traditional Verizon or AT&T phone service to a broadband service such as Comcast or Vonage. Some of those customers who have already switched have forgotten about their alarm system until they have needed it.
We urge anyone that currently monitors their alarm system to call us before making the change to a new phone service. 95% of the time the new phone service will work with your alarm system. On most installations it will be necessary for us to make some wiring changes within your home to re-activate the alarm system after a switch to an IP provider. This can be done on a much timelier basis if the work is scheduled before the changes occur.
